About Me

Where We Are & Where We Should Be Going, The Stars

There are two ways to get there, revolutionary and evolutionary. We all know how the revolutionary works. Some people know how evolutionary works. The revolutionary works with the spilling of a lot of blood and evolutionary works by getting votes. I prefer the latter.

In either case the goal is the capture of the state. Then the power of the state can be used to implement the socialist agenda. I don't mean the 19th century version that Karl Marx envisioned either. I think he was partly right, but couldn't get the full formula to bring about the goal of Socialism, which is Equality, Liberty and Fraternity. Mr. Marx was unable to see the total solution because of the times in which he lived. During the era Marx was studying Socialism and postulating about it, there was a lack of knowledge compared to today. That lack of knowledge caused Marx to be unable to see the total picture.

The Socialist idea evolved into a notion that all of the means of production be owned by the proletariat or the working class. The managers and the production personnel in cooperation decides what to produce, how much of it to produce and what everyone is getting paid. If the board of directors of any company was half composed of production workers, I doubt they would be voting to give managers gigantic paychecks while the production workers are paid barely enough to survive. There would be a more even distribution of wages.

The addressing of the worker in relation to the managers is not an end solution. It is only part of the path to achieve the end goal of Equality, Liberty and Fraternity. The goal has always been Equality, Liberty and Fraternity, but people like Stalin had muddied the waters. Stalin, after they had captured the state didn't go the full mile in achieving Equality, Liberty and Fraternity. The Russian people had suffered so severely, he was unable to tell them that they would have to suffer some more to get to the goal of Equality, Liberty and Fraternity. So instead, after the revolution he proclaimed "This is Socialism." when in fact he had instituted "State Capitalism".

So we still have the question of how to obtain the end solution of Socialism, which is Equality, Liberty and Fraternity? The prevailing notion is that through total automation, total freedom can be had, which would enable Equality, Liberty and Fraternity. At present automation is being used to maximize the profits/paychecks of the managers, and the result is displaced workers who find themselves with no paychecks. Automation provided them with total freedom, but not Equality, Liberty and Fraternity. Freedom isn't worth much if you are struggling to obtain basic necessities while other people with freedom suck up all the benefits of the automation.

The solution to the proletariat's dilemma, which is poverty caused by displacement through automation, is a universal basic income or stipend. The source of the funds to provide that basic income should be the natural resources of energy and materials. The private ownership of natural resources, i.e. privately held mineral rights, would have to be abandoned in favor of public ownership of all resources that are in their natural state. The nationalization of all natural mineral and energy resources would have to be instituted. Then through the sale of these resources to enterprises, both private and collective, we could fund the basic income of them who have been displaced through automation. Yet a problem still remains. The scarcity of resources and the destruction of the natural environment on which we depend for survival.

The scarcity of resources and the destruction of the natural environment point to the last piece in the equation which would provide Equality, Liberty and Fraternity. That last piece of the puzzle would be unlimited abundance of natural resources. We are not going to have that as long as we confine ourselves to one planet.

Obtaining total automation, and unlimited supplies of natural resources, which can be had without destroying our natural environment, which also would lead to Equality, Liberty and Fraternity, we have to go beyond a closed system. That's where we are today. We are living within the closed system of the Earth, but trying for unlimited growth. The problems with that are already causing real problems for hundreds of millions of people.

Environmental degradation and resource depletion is causing the physical displacement of people and violence between groups of competing people. As the displaced people move into areas already occupied by other people, resentment builds because the displaced people are competing for the resources available in the places which are already occupied into which they move. Violence is employed by the people against the displaced in an effort to get them to move along, not come at all, or to eliminate them wholesale.

The nations get into conflict over natural resources as well. We are seeing this effect intensify as the natural resources are depleted. Wars break out, which causes even more people to be displaced, further exacerbating the problems created by displaced people competing for limited resources wherever they move. All of this shows why the final piece of the puzzle is unlimited resources. If there were unlimited resources, people would not be motivated to go into conflict over them. The conflict wouldn't happen thus people wouldn't be displaced by war.

Karl Marx was unaware of this factor as far as I can tell. If he was aware of it, he didn't know where to obtain these unlimited resources. During his times the resources seemed to be unlimited because they didn't know that there was a limit on Earth to the resources that could be extracted. Because of exploration, and scientific advancement and discovery, we now know that the Earthly supplies of resources are limited and we also know where there are unlimited supplies of resources. Those supplies lay off world.

It is required that humans begin the harvesting of resources in places other than the Earth. We humans have got to break out of the closed system in which we evolved. We have to start an effort to mine the planetary neighborhood for material wealth and energy resources, which are unlimited in nature. Then through the effort to mine these off world resources automation would further advance. The combination of unlimited resources and total automation, coupled with the capture of the state, would allow human beings to have total freedom, which would foster Equality, Liberty and Fraternity.

Total automation would have to be advanced to a state in which the machines would be able to design themselves and build themselves with resources they discovered, extracted and refined without the benefit of human intervention. In the beginning (now), the humans would be required to set up mining operations and colonies off world in places like the asteroid belt, the moon and Mars. We would also have to set up grids in space to collect the energy coming from the sun and beam it to wherever it is needed. This would be the source of the unlimited supplies of energy and materials.

So in order to sum things up, these are the factors in the equation which would allow people to obtain the goal of Socialism, which is Equality, Liberty and Fraternity. First, the capture of the state. Second, the nationalization of all natural resources on and off the Earth. Third, the utilization of resources which lay off the Earth. And finally, total automation.

Until humans do those four things, they will continue to suffer the degradation of the environment, a scarcity of resources, war between the nations, famine, mass migrations of people and the problems caused by these displaced populations. Unless we humans break out of the closed system of the Earth, we will continue to suffer the degradation of the environment, and endanger our species existence.

I am against some technology. Everything under the sun doesn't have to have an electric motor and microchips. That's what humans try to do though. From clothes dryers to toothbrushes humans have gone on some kind of mania gadgetizing. I think it is a faze humans are going through.

Humans are a child species. A dangerous one at that. All this technology is very new to the human condition. Human beings have only been around in their present form for around 200,000 years. Our species has had technology for 3 million years starting with sticks and stone tools. It took humans all the way to 3000 B.C. to figure out how to use metal. After that long slow 2.7 million years of stone tool use, technological progress flowered. In only 5000 years humans went from stones to PET scanners which utilize antimatter. From living in caves and stick huts to skyscrapers and space stations.

This Technological world Human Beings have invented is a very new thing for the human condition. Like giving a child the best toy they ever could have, humans are given technology through their cleverness and have become fascinated with their own inventions. Just like a child too, if they don't have it and another child does they will snatch it from the other child's hands. Humans, the dangerous child that they are, have no restraint. If they don't have what the other does, they are more than willing to kill to get it.

Perhaps one day the human fascination with gadgets will wear off. Humans need to be distracted with some other fascination. Humans need reason to not crave or covet gadgets. That reason might come from the ability to obtain any gadget at will. Because of human nature, abundance would then cause gadgets to become mundane. How does our species get to the point of super abundance?

The combination of total automation and unlimited supply of all resources is the key to super abundance of gadgets. Humans would be required to begin expanding into the cosmos in order to have access to unlimited supplies of raw materials. If humans were to access unlimited supplies through expanding into space, human technological progress would increase. Humans would further automate, which would displace human labor. Eventually automation would become complete. Machines would have the ability to design, manufacture and repair themselves. Machines would be able to construct any device from resources that the machines discovered, extracted and processed without the aid of humans.

When human development of instrumentality had reached such a state of total automation, human beings would then be able to enjoy total liberty, equality and fraternity. No one would have any reason to covet anything anyone else possessed. If any person desired or needed anything, the machines would provide it. All anyone need do is to utter a desire and the machines would instantly respond. If you wanted a cup of tea just say the word and machines would provide it from tea the machines grew and harvested. It doesn't stop there either. If you wanted to have the machines build a house on Mars and take you there, just say the word. No one would have to kill anyone to have stuff if everything was provided by machines. Why kill someone to get a bunch of diamonds and gold when machines would provide it for you. Money would become obsolete, so no need to kill each other over that either. That's where the distraction from fascination with gadgets happens.

The making of any device, gadget or thing freely available through unlimited supply and total automation would cause technology to become completely mundane. Then the childlike species called "human" would lose their fascination with gadgets. The human species would grow up a little. They would turn their attention and fascination towards something else. Perhaps that would be the arts or philosophy. Perhaps the totally free human would turn their attention to leisure activity or sports. The human might even turn their ever burning curiosity towards the stars. If so, the machines would be the enabler, the ally.

This is my Socialist dream. This is how I believe it can become a reality. It will take several human generations to fully realize.

It is lousy, scheming, underhanded tricks like the GOP trick in Wisconsin that further reinforce my belief that the presence of political parties in government has become toxic to the principals of Liberty, Equality and Community. The political parties are so obsessed with having/keeping power that no means is unsavory enough to be withheld in their pursuit of their selfish ends. The partisans, and without honor, attempt to use the processes of government to usurp the authority of the voting public. Let us consider that if the Republican party in Wisconsin had came out on top during the 2018 midterm elections that they would not be advancing bills that diminish the power of the governor. You can bet that if their dirty trick works other partisans in other states will attempt the same thing. You can be also be assured that if their dirty trick don’t work that they’ll spend a lot of effort coming up with another trick. When they craft another scheme, they’ll employ it. All of the parties use the functions and processes of government to solidify their hold on power. When the voting public place partisans into public office the partisans will immediately begin to scheme up ways of keeping power, and removing power from the other partisan political bodies. This cycle goes back and forth, each time diminishing the power of We the People. So what to do? The states and parties who control the governments have proven that they can not be trusted with such awesome powers as dictating election law. They have proven by their actions that they will use the machinery of government to take power from you and me if it serves them and their corporate masters. The thing to do is to remove power from all political parties. To remove power from political parties We the People must register as “No Party”, and do it in mass. We the People must be the ultimate nonpartisans. We the People can give a vote of no confidence in parties by dropping out of them. Abandon them like you would any abusive relationship. Refuse to take the abuse. We the People should cause all states to have the same elections laws by adopting a System of Uniform Voter & Election Laws (SUVEL). Have all states and territories elections be brought under SUVAL, and increase the authority of the Federal Elections Commission so that they may monitor the states and enforce SUVAL. One item of extreme importance that should be included in the SUVAL is, all citizens are automatically registered to vote when they reach the age of 18. The political parties would use the government machine to attempt to crush any such change because it would destroy the partisan voter registration system which props up their hold on government. Any attempt to crush an automatic voter registration system being implemented is proof of party contempt for the citizens. It would be further proof of charges made here in previous paragraphs. If our nation implemented automatic voter registration, all voters would automatically be registered as “No Party” because no government, or person can choose who you associate with. I seriously doubt that once people are automatically registered to vote that they would go the extra step to declare party affiliation so they might vote in a party primary. It would be more likely that the political parties, while they still hold power and before these changes cause their power to diminish much, would clamor for open primaries in all states, and/or attempt to reverse automatic voter registration. We can not allow the partisan thralls of corporations to withhold power from We the People by the criminal misuse of our governmental systems and processes. We the People must never tolerate political parties, persons, or entities to take our rightful power. The start is, We MUST ALL DROP OUT OF THE POLITICAL PARTIES and be the Ultimate Nonpartisans.

=============== After all the indictments and convictions, I call it money well spent. What is the shame is Trump and his partners in crime has put our nation in a situation in which we had to spend $40M. The Trump Traitors should have to reimburse We the People for the expense.

The ART project has been a thorn in the side of businesses, drivers and pedestrians from day one. Now all the busses have to go back. What a mess. We have all that infrastructure and no busses, or do we? How about using the busses we have now? Just have them go the opposite direction then their door will face the platforms. I believe it can be done safely. We already have vehicles going opposite directions separated by only a line on the pavement, and doing it safely. I think if we have the busses going the opposite direction in the bus lanes so that their doors face the platforms we can put all that infrastructure to use right now. The people of Albuquerque have been bothered by the ART project long enough. We’ve put good money into the ART. Let’s start to use the ART by going the opposite direction.

I do too. I also want to motivate others to do good works. I walk a tightrope in not wanting to attract praise for something that we should all be doing anyway, and telling of the works as an example to provide motives. So please allow me to share. I did give one of our homeless brothers a jacket the other day. I seen him on the side of the road with a grocery cart. I just pulled over, jumped out of the van and said, “Hey bro, you want this jacket?” He took it and smiled. I got back into my van and put it into gear. About that time I looked over at him and he had the jacket on. He looked at me with a big smile and gave me the thumbs up. That was the best reward a fellow could ever have, Even now, the reward of the memory of my brother’s smiling face over a jacket still gives dividends in good feelings. That’s better than money in the bank.

They say that there may have been life on Mars early in that planet's history. If that is true we should gain one vital message from that reality. That message being, just because there is life on a planet now doesn't mean that there will be life on the same planet later. Earth is a planet with life on it now. Some people comfort themselves with thoughts of humans being favored by a creator being. Some people believe that death isn’t an issue because of a promised afterlife. Some people don’t believe in notions of gods and afterlives, but could care less anyway. They say to themselves “I’ll be dead then anyway, so who gives a crap?” Whatever the case, the humans rationalized keeping doing the things they have been always doing. Things that seem to not be working out to well. Things like the mass killing of other species, even unto extinction. The digging into the Earth, the scraping of the surface for materials of all kinds, with utter abandon. The pouring out of substances that are toxic to living creatures into the waters and the air, without restraint. But people comfort themselves. It is as if we humans all have decided to party down and eat it all. To intoxicate ourselves with over consumption to the point of our collective death. Who cares, right? Live for today and let tomorrow take care of itself. We got plans to deal with the problems. Just today I read of a scheme to spray substances into the air to block out the rays of the sun. Some kind of sulfur compound I believe they said. So we’re saved! We can continue to burn baby, burn. We’ll just cool things down by spraying even more crap into the atmosphere. Knock, knock, knock! HELLO! Is anyone home? We have no idea if such a scheme to mitigate the damages (heating) to our ecosystem would work. Doing such a thing could cause more damages than they fix. There is one thing we do know will work. Stop doing what we’ve been doing. Stop doing things like the mass killing of other species, even unto extinction. The digging into the Earth, the scraping of the surface for materials of all kinds, with utter abandon. The pouring out of substances that are toxic to living creatures into the waters and the air, without restraint. Just don’t do that. You want the Earth to end up like Mars? We need to be doing everything possible to ensure the long term survival of this Earth’s Tree of Life. We, as creatures that are a part of that tree and who have evolved into intellectual beings, are responsible for the survival of the Earth born Tree of Life. Not only that, we have become the means to spread Earth’s life throughout the cosmos. If we do not do that, we will have failed our Tree of Life. Isn’t that what successful life always tries to do, spread out? Look at life on Earth. We have found life in the deepest caves and tunnels. We have found life of all kinds everywhere. Even humans have spread out to occupy even the most harsh of environments. Just like a colony of cells in a petri dish spreading out to consume all the nutrients and take up all the room, humans have spread out all over the surface of the Earth. They have even made an effort to spread upwards. We have to do that spreading out, and the preserving of the petri dish of Earth’s Tree of Life, which is the the planet. If we don’t, the Earth will one day resemble Mars. There may be ruins that last for several eons, but even the most sturdy of human constructs will eventually crumble into dust. Then the human oblivion will be had. The Earth would be merely another nameless planet around a nameless star in the vast infinity of time and space. There very well may be other planets out there with there own tree of life. There may be intelligent creatures in those other trees of life. They may be creatures that are not ruled by self gratification. They may be intelligent creatures with a single minded purpose, to spread out and to consume. To occupy more space and to spread their own tree of life. You can be most assured, when one tree of life intelligence detects another, there will be consequences. In time one tree of life intelligence detects a threat from another, or detects that the other tree of life may be consumed. We should be doing everything in our power to ensure that the Earth’s Tree of Life is not the consumed. That means spreading out. We just had a climate assessment issued that didn’t paint a very pretty picture for the future of life on this planet. The response from our gluttonous leaders was extremely anemic. I guess they don’t care if the Earth one day looks like Mars. After all, they will be dead by then enjoying an eternal afterlife, or not.

We need to eliminate the partisanship that rules Washington, and ensure that We the People never have to suffer the gridlock and wasted tax dollars caused by the political parties. We need rule changes. We must improve the process. I am all for some rules changes. I think the 1st rule that should be changed concerns the duties of the Speaker of the House. It would be a rules change that would eliminate a very large portion of the partisanship responsible for the dysfunction in OUR government. It is imperative that We the People have a “nonpartisan” Speaker of the House of Representatives. I doubt the political parties would support such a move. When the Speaker takes the Chair they should be required to take an Oath of Nonpartisanship. They should be required to give their full allegiance to We the People and disavow any allegiance to any political party, partisan body, or committee, or any person/s, and give their attention fully to the smooth, proper, and efficient operation of the People’s government. Furthermore, it should be disallowed to suspend the rules in the House and the Senate. It should be disallowed to overrule a Speaker of the House or Senate pro tempore ruling by a simple majority vote. It is necessary to cause all House and Senate committee Chairpersons, such as the Senate Judiciary Committee, to be strictly nonpartisan positions. Any person to occupy any committee chair should also be required to swear an oath of nonpartisanship. They too would be required to give fully their allegiance to We the People, disavowing any such allegiance to party, person, or partisan entities. These changes in the rules would better ensure that the best interests of all persons are served with equality. These rule changes would better ensure the smooth function of the government for We the People. In the meantime, We the People can take positive action to force the issue, which is government dysfunction, and the lack of equal representation that a large portion of the population experience. The very 1st thing to do is to register “No Party”. Plain and simple, that is the tip of the spear! We have to bring the beast under control, and to do it We the People have to make good weapons. If people by the tens of millions registered as No Party it would send a powerful message to the political parties. Like Bernie Sanders said “Enough is Enough!”. He said that and a lot of people, including me, believe that enough is enough. We’ve all had it! We wanted change, but didn’t know how to get it. The political parties had it all sewn up, picked your candidates, then turned their backs on the electorate in the name of political expediency. In the name of propping up the arciage and now becoming dangerous, party system. So you have got to register as No Party. Drop out and tune in, brothers and sisters. There are a lot of states that have a closed party primary system. Guess who made that rule, and guess who that rule serves best. It isn’t the common John, or Jane Doe struggling to make ends meet. ALL the rules are made up by political parties. They are made up in such a way as to serve their benefactors and to keep power in the hands of the few so that their benefactors may be served. I’ve got a heads up for you, my precious brothers and sisters. You ain’t one of their benefactors. You may have been tricked into thinking you are, but you most assuredly are not if you are common John, or Jane Doe. Registering No Party, and I mean by the tens of millions, will open up the political party primaries in all states. Once the party bosses realize that their party base is shriveling like a flower without water, they will have no other choice but to support open primaries. There isn’t very much use in having a party if nobody can come. Not much use in having a primary election if nobody’s going to vote in it. They would have to open up the primaries if they expected more than a few diehard partisans to vote in it. See how registering No Party by the tens of millions is the tip of the spear of We the People’s weapon to slay dysfunctional beast that is our government? The party bosses would panic. They would fight it by attempting to make rules that undermine the No Party effort. When they do that, you will have proof of the party contempt for We the People waving in your face. Force the issues. Issues like political parties making the voter laws in the states. They have proven that they can’t be trusted with any such powers. The political parties run the show. The political parties, while they have power, make rules at the state level that prop up their power, and disenfranchise anyone who they see as a threat to the status quo. As a threat to their benefactors, one of which you aren’t. All states must have uniform election laws. If any state wishes to change any part of, or add to, the Uniform Election Laws, there would have to be federal approval by a committee chaired by a nonpartisan. Then all states would have adopt the new rule, or change. See how that nonpartisan chair would work? It would work for the best interests of the many, not the few. Go register No Party as soon as possible. Send that powerful message that “Enough is enough”, and now We the People are armed with nonpartisanship. I swear to you, there is no other weapon We the People can use which is as powerful as registering No Party to get what we want! Voting is the next most powerful weapon, but you have to vote it in a particular way. That way of voting is a nonpartisan way. Never vote a straight party ticket. Doing that is just like saying you are okay with letting someone else do your thinking for you. Why don’t people who vote straight party tickets just sign over to them power of attorney too? We don’t do that because we know that things will more than likely not go well. I like doing my own thinking. All people who aren’t registered to vote, go register. All people who are registered to vote, or plan on it, register No Party. Demand that the Speaker of the House of Representatives be nonpartisan. Demand that all House and Senate committees be chaired by nonpartisans. Demand that House and Senate rules cannot be suspended. demand that the Speaker of the House, or the Senate pro tempore may not be overruled by a simple majority vote. Cause all states to have open primaries by We the People registering “No Party”, by the tens of millions. Cause all states to have uniform election laws, only changeable at the federal level. Require that all political commercials and debates be hosted by C-Span, and in the C-Span studios. Institute “Automatic Voter Registration” in all states. If we do these things, We the People will be better served.

Thanksgiving is merely a harvest holiday. Many people around the world have celebrations for the harvest season. It is a pretty ancient practise. Now we have what we have through no action of our own. We should use it to bring people together, not divide. Perhaps we can recognise that the Thanksgiving Holiday USA style has become a Capitalist dream. It is a wholly manufactured invention designed to get you all warm and fuzzy, and to whip out that bank card and unload all your cash Black Friday, or Cyber Monday on a bunch of useless items that’ll end up in a landfill, the ocean, a fish, a bird, you and me. As far as the slaughter of our precious brothers and sisters, native born this land, goes, we all can not erase our dirty deeds. None of us can. What we can do is stop trying to fool ourselves. We all need to know the truth of the matter at hand. The truth is, most people of European, or African ancestry don’t even have a clue as to who they really are! Allow me to elaborate. Like I mentioned, we didn’t start all this mess. We all were born into it. Born into a carefully crafted lie born of cultural genocide. Take myself for instance. From the time I could speak and understand language people have been feeding me lie upon lie! The first lie that was told to me was that I am a “white person”. I’m not a white person. I’m a Celtic Scot. To bad that it took me 50 years to figure that out, but at least it got done. The Scots and the Irish are people who have been severely affected by cultural genocide. For them it started with Roman enslavement a couple thousand years ago. Tribute was paid with gold and the bloodsports of the arena. After Constantine legalized Christianity, thus giving false legitimacy to the rule of kings and queens, colonialism was perfected. The Scots, the Irish, the Africans, the Native inhabitants, damn near every last one of us has been living a lie. A lie born to prop up colonialism by keeping us divided. In a way I admire the native people of this land. They remember more of their true cultural identity than the vast majority of people. In the meantime, I’m stuck with the job of trying to wrestle out the truth of my lost identity by reading the works of Romans like Tacitus, the people who invaded and enslaved. I’m stuck with the vision of Celtic Scots carrying Confederate and Nazi flags. They truly don’t have any clue as to their real history, or identity. They took up the label handed to them by 17th century slavers. Let us all remember who we really are. I am a Celtic Scot. I give my ancient ancestors honor, and reject the false identity given me from birth. We can find common ground in finding the truth. We don’t have to be manipulated for some greedy Capitalist/Colonialist scheme. We didn’t make this mess. We woke up from oblivion one day and found ourselves in it. Let’s start the fix. Love one another, and remember.

I’m about #DoneWithFacebook. I love being able to communicate with many millions of people at a whim, but this FB thing isn’t looking so good. We’ve got many creep Facebook and Twitter planting seeds of discord and division among us. Some do it for childish fun, while others do it with evil intent. Some are pretty transparent about what they are doing, while others are cleverly writing deceptive lures designed to sow discord. I might remove myself from it, I remember not long ago when people went to BBS and forums. People who who were interested in flowers went to a flowers forum. People who were interested in politics went to a politics forum. Sure, there were trolls, but they weren’t flooded with tens of thousands of memes with propaganda directly from Russia with with love. Trolls and trouble makers were easy for forum admins to handle back in the day. With the advent of FB and Twitter, trolls found furtale ground without any rules. It was just like the wild, wild west. Now Facebook is making like they want to reign things in, but I find they promote some Republican scheme too! What the HELL? I’m about to say to hell with the lot of them. I did just fine for half a century without them. At this point in my life, it wouldn’t be a big loss if they tonight! I’ll be joining, or starting, a political forum real soon. A Socialist forum. One that wants to see humanity advance instead of degrade into barbarism.

Thank you for celebrating a holiday steeped in Socialist tradition. People feeding each other without asking for remuneration. They do it because they love each other and are happy to have each other’s company. Could you imagine it? You arrive at grandmother’s house for the gathering and a feast. When you arrive, you are presented with a bill of $150.00 for your family of four. After dinner is through, you are asked to help with the cleanup. You happily agree, then present grandmother with a bill for $75 for the cleanup. Talk about sucking the love out of a family gathering! That’ll do it every time when we charge each other for everything. What about love? What about love for our brothers and sisters? All of them. There are many of our brothers and sisters living in need. Need of food, shelter on a cold night, clothing and most importantly, love. That love don’t mean much if it isn’t backed up with action. Action like lifting the ones in need up. Helping them to have a better present and a better future. It isn’t very hard and will bring you treasures beyond belief. Next time you see someone in need, like the fellow standing on a corner with a sign, give unto them, but don’t just give. Tell them, and damn well mean it, that you are doing what you are able to lift them up. Then do it! You are a Christian, a Muslim, or one off the other religions? Act like it and give unto the poor. Do not ask anything in return for help. Do not ask for prerequisite actions to qualify for help. Just help. Then they will begin to lift themselves up because they just might start to believe they have worth. That someone actually cares they are still around! That someone still loves them. It doesn’t matter if one is young, or old. It doesn’t matter if you are a boy, or a girl. It doesn’t even matter what religion, or culture you claim. We are all fundamentally alike. We just want to have a happy life, and to be loved. Let’s help each other have that. It isn’t so hard. Just love instead of hate. Understand instead of mindless rejection. Just love, and be thankful. Thank you for changing for the better.

There was a company named Texaco for Texas + Co., of which Texas could have been named Texaco in an alt-reality, then that company might have been named Texacoco.

Making people register to vote helps to maintain political party power over the election process. If people were automatically registered the moment they become a 18 year old US citizen the power held by the political parties over the political process would diminish. If people were auto-reg. tp vote they would have to be registered “No Party” by default because no one can chose a party for any other person. When people register to vote under the present system they are urged to register as a member of a political party. Because of the “You get this evil if you don’t for vote for that lesser evil.” mentality fostered by the puppet masters, many people do chose to register as a party member. Then votes are restricted when states have their closed primary elections. They should not be called “primary elections” because they are not primary. They are exclusive elections when any segment of the population is excluded. Causing all proper citizens of the US to become registered to vote automatically when they become 18 years of age will have to go hand-in-hand with open primaries in all states. If you have auto-reg to vote and open primaries you still don’t have enough. Citizens United must be crushed and to remove 1st Amendment protections for lies uttered to the public for political purposes by politicians and pundits. Citizens United and lies/deception go hand in hand to reinforce each other. You have to get rid of both or else they will come back. Require that the identities of all donors of anything of value to candidates or parties be publicly disclosed. NO SECRET DONORS! Take away from the states the power to form election laws. Give that power over to federal authorities and expand the Federal Election Commission’s enforcement mandate. Require that all candidate debates be hosted by C-Span and to be held at the C-Span studios. Inquisitors shall be chosen from a certified pool of non-partisans. The inquisitors shall be required to take an oath disavowing any allegiance to parties and/or persons. The commercial media networks shall be allowed to rebroadcast the C-Span produced debates, but without modification or edits except for commercial breaks. Until these things happen, and to help make these things happen, you should register as “No Party”. The political parties would oppose any and all of these reforms. Dropping out of the parties by the tens of millions will put the political parties on notice. It would force open primaries in all states, which would be a huge step in the right direction. It would be a step in the direction of Liberty, Equality and Community.

Modern Money Theory? Just print it up and pass it around to rich friends. It will trickle down. It is a bit like starving, overworked, poor people gathered around the dining table of the privileged class while the privileged eat the fruits of the poor's labor and the poor waits for a crumb to fall. If you take it away from one place (tax cut), you have to get it from another place (tax increase). If you give people who already have a lot of money more money, they hoard it. If you give people who have very little money more money, they will spend it. When people spend money the economy does well. When people hoard money the economy suffers. If the economy has been doing so well for the last decade, why would the Republican party keep pushing Reaganomics like tax cuts for the rich (so-called "job makers"? The stock market has been said to be doing very well, and jobless numbers down, so why all the continued Republican focus on tax cuts? How about because the Republican Party is in the pocket of megawealthy individuals and corporations? How about because the Republican Party does NOT serve we the people.? How about because one year the Republicans will admonish their opposition for one thing, then turn around and do the same thing later as if all is good? The GOP cause obstruction one year and then obstruct the following year, while blaming the obstruction on the opposition. The Republican Party is corrupt to the marrow. The Democratic Party, even though marginally better, also is corrupt. We need tax increases in the well heeled, and relief for the middle class and poor. Increase taxes on the rich, then use the money to rebuild and modernize our infrastructure on earth, and in space. All these unnecessary tax cuts for people who are already well off is an outrage! And the conservatives and Capitalists say Socialists want "free stuff"? Give me a damn break! They are stealing stuff at the point of a gun and bitch about it when someone wants their fair share. Register No Party ASAP. In this morning's news cast they said the majority of newly registered voters are registering No Party or Independent. Registrations are way up (Good Job!). I want all the people who are registered to a political party to now drop out and register no party. Political parties and all the money thrown at them are the problem. 9/11 comes sooner for me every year. I believe that the events of 9/11 gave our people mass PTSD. I can hardly think of that day in detail without getting upset. Even now as I write these words I can feel the emotion raising in me. That 9/11 day effected all people who witnessed it in many different ways. Here's mine. I was on my way to Dallas when I got word. My x-wife and I had stopped at a motel for the night on 8/11. I was brushing my teeth when she said, "Wow! Someone just flew a plane into the WTC." I finished up fast and then watched as the story unfolded. I was an aircraft technician on my way to rebuild an aircraft in Dallas. Being so involved with the aviation industry for so many years surely caused me to have extra interest in the unfolding tragedy. I sat there on the edge of the bed in that motel room mesmerized by the sights and sounds received from that TV set. Honestly, I was speechless. My wife later told me I had to snap out of it as we drove down the road. I was still in a kind of shock. We arrived at Dallas and I checked in at the airport. It sure was strange. Normally there would be the sounds of aviation all around me, but not this time. This time you could hear a pin drop when you should have been hearing hammers and such. All aircraft in the United States had been grounded. The aviation industry was in effect put on hold, and so was my job. Three days after I checked in, I was told I was being let go. All of us were being let go. Many thousands of aviation professionals were put out, layed off, let go, or otherwise found themselves out of work a few days after 9/11. It took a few months for the aviation industry to recover from the events of 9/11. I did find a new aircraft contract in Everett, Washington, after an exhaustive search, a few months later. So, the events of 9/11 hit me in a hard way because my occupation was aviation. The effects on me were minor when compared to many other people, but affect me they did, and in a lasting way. The occurrences of that fateful day had affected millions of people in all kinds of ways. Ways that were bad. Ways that even now after all these years makes tears come to my eyes when going into this much thought about it. So my writing about 9/11 stops now. I have to stop because my PTSD is raging. If I don’t stop now, I will break down. I remember to much. It is a curse of having a vivid memory. Please take it from me.

Did you ever notice that baseball teams and football teams can't pick out their own umpires and referees? They don’t let the last team to win pick out the referees and umpires for good reason. I doubt I even have to elaborate on why that would be a bad idea. So why is it that we allow essentially the same thing to go on in government? I’m talking about all the committee chairs filled by majority party winners. Letting partisans choose from among partisans to fill committee chair positions is a recipe for government dysfunction. Just look at the way the Senate Judiciary Committee handles SCOTUS nominations. Your party gets the majority, installs a partisan as chair, then ramrods any undesirable thing they wish down our collective throats. Or in the case of Boehner and Obama, you got sequestration and Meadows letters because the Republicans controlled the Speaker of the House seat. Let’s just end it! No more of the partisanship ruining everything. Let’s demand an end to partisan committee chairs and speakerships. I want things to work like this. First in order to get things to work we’ll have to do a number of things. Nationalize all natural resources on and off the planet Earth. Set up a priority project of education with the goal of 99.9% literacy, with 75% of that being at the 2 year college level. Make a basic income safety net that all citizens may avail themselves of if needed. Make the basic income available to all able bodied persons willing to add themselves to a national laberpool, and to all disabled persons and others unable to work due to other factors. Use the labor supplied by the national labor pool for infrastructure building and disaster remediation. When people who are in the basic income program are put to work, they will then receive a wage which is higher than the basic income. We must break free of the closed system of resources in which we evolved. At present we are working to have unlimited growth within a closed system. A system whose environment is becoming hostile to its inhabitants because of the inhabitants activities. The only solution is to become a multi planet species who harvests the resources of the planetary neighborhood for their use. We must take advantage of the unlimited nature of material and energy resources off world, and to place major industrial operations in space. Then we will be able to fully provide for every human, reverse the damages we have caused our planet and to preserve our precious world for generations to come. We must stop the burning off of precious hydrocarbon resources in the primitive practice of fossil fuels energy production. Our technology has now enabled our species to derive our energy needs from other, clean resources, like solar and wind energy collection methods. There is no longer any need, or reason other than preserving a profit motive, to generate energy by burning fossil fuels. The dangers of the continued burning of billions of tons of hydrocarbons has become abundantly clear. We must end the burning and go 100% green. There is plenty of other good uses for our hydrocarbon resources. For all we know, naturally formed hydrocarbon deposits like oil and coal may be extremely rare in the universe. We may want to not burn it all up. Make sure that all persons have unfettered access to healthcare. We must make sure that every person can get the healthcare they need to be healthy and happy, and do it from cradle to grave. Money shall not be a measure to determine how medical resources are doled out. Insurance companies shall not profit from the medical profession, medicine or any other way that causes resources to go into their profit, diverting those resources from their rightful purpose, health care for our people. In order to enact the above actions we will have to do some other things first. All registered voters must register as no party. Cause all states which have closed primaries to open them. Cause the end of the Electoral College. Cause all states to have uniform election laws. Cause all political parties to go by the same rule book. Cause any political divisions of territory to be made by an independent, nonpartisan committee. Cause all political campaigns to be publicly funded, provided a candidate meets certain prerequisites, like gathering a number of signatures to show the public’s support. Cause all political debates to be hosted by C-Span, and allow the media networks to rebroadcast the resulting program without modification. Allow a few breaks for the human factor, and so that the media networks may air commercials. Remove 1st Amendment protections from lies. Make the purposeful deception of the public by any means, by a declared candidate for public office, their charges, or the media in reporting events and the statements of politicians, to be a felony punishable by very harsh monetary penalties and imprisonment. It’s got to hurt. No slaps on the wrist because we’re talking public trust here. The public must have good information in order to make good choices. Make the position of Speaker of the House of Representatives to be a nonpartisan position. Require that the Speaker of the House state publicly that they disavow any allegiance to any political organization, or private interests, and fully devote their allegiance to the people, and their attention to the smooth, equitable and proper function of the House. The Speaker must me Non Partisan. Like stated in item number 10, all Congressional Committee Chairpersons must also pledge non partisanship. Require that chairpersons of committees have expertise in the field over which the committee has purview. Enact automatic voter registration for citizens over the age of 18. Successfully accomplishing the 12 steps outlined here will enable the accomplishing of the 6 items listed before them. Then with all the 18 items successfully brought about, things might go something like this. At least this is how I might envision them. A young person has just completed their publicly funded education. Now they have a 2 year degree, or tradecraft skills. The person, who I’ll call Mr. Person, has also just reached the age of 18 years. Now they also have full voters rights. As part of the graduation process they are offered to be put on the National Labor Pool (NLP). They sign up, and then their skills and qualifications go into the national database. A few months go by. During that time the young person was offered to be dispatched to the Gulf Coast to help out with hurricane relief. They took the offer and because of that, their stipend was increased to reflect their efforts, with a danger premium added. Work is coming to a close when Mr. Person receives a message with another offer of work. This time the work is on the Asteroid Ceres. Mr. Person had high scores in fields that are required for the mining and processing of astoridal materials. The offer is contingent upon passing a physical, and a 2 year preparatory camp. During the 2 year camp the participant will have an increase in their stipend which will be greater than that which is gained from work in the NLP. Two years have passed, and now Mr. Person is all ready to join the National Space Labor Force (NSLF). Once they are all signed up and a member of the NSLF they would get another raise in pay to reflect their greater skill, ability and utility to the public. Their assignment would be issued after a vacation. Once Mr. Person has arrived at their work location they will be issued quarters. Their quarters would be fully equipped with all the creature comforts required for a healthy, happy and fulfilling life. All members of the NSLF who are in assignment off world will receive a premium in pay. Now Mr. Person has been at work off world for 10 years. He has had proper vacations to Earth and Mars. He has received rewards for innovation. Mr. Person has also saved up a nice chunk of money in the form of asteroidal platinum notes. He has already leased property on Mars from the People’s Resource Stockpile. So Mr. Person decides to resign from the NSLF and make a business on Mars. Because he no longer is a member of the NSFL he is offered to revert to being listed on the National Labor Pool. He declines. Because he is able bodied and has plenty of knowledge and skills, and has declined inclusion onto the NLP, his Basic Income is cut off. Mr. Person wants to make a new kind of eyedropper he invented and sell them, but he wants to have his business on Mars because he thinks it is cool. Now he goes to the National Resource Stockpile and uses some of those saves platinum notes to purchase the materials needed to make the eye droppers. He needed some labor too, but was only able to find 1 person on the private labor market. So he opts to fill the remaining 4 positions created by his eyedropper position by applying for labor from the NLP. He pays the NLP for the labor. The NLP pays the laborer a proper wage. In the end he misses his old job and wants to quit the eyedropper business. By law he can not just shut it all down at a whim. First the business owner must offer the employees the option of taking over the operation. Whatever terms they come up with is their affaire. If the workers are unable to secure financing to purchase the business, they can apply for public financing. Now the former workers are now the owners too, and Mr. Person is back with the NSLP and on his way back to deep space. This is like unto a scenario I would like to see happen. This is New Era Socialism. It is better than Capitalism.

At a basic level, when a commodity is produced, a natural substance is transformed into a useful item by human labor. Therefore, the value embodied in the produced item is a representation of the time and effort expended by the human to transform the natural substance into a useful item. Extracting the substances needed for the production of useful items is a part of the production process. Therefore the labor expended in extracting the needed substances is transformed into value within the extracted substance, labor-value. The human who wishes to produce an item first must form the object as an image in their mind. Once they have done that, they contemplate the materials that may be needed. Next they either extract the material themselves, or they go to market and use currency to purchase the needed materials. Now that they have the materials and an image in their mind, they can go about transforming the materials they obtained into the useful object. They either transform the material themselves, or they make use of the labor of other humans, or machines. Regardless of the way the material is transformed, labor is applied to cause the transformation, which adds labor-value. The aforementioned process is the way all useful items have been produced ever since our species was using twigs to fish termites out of a nest millions of years ago. How this process can be carried out is the debate. It is the debate because the way the process is carried out determines how the value which is created by human labor gets distributed. The way the value of human labor gets distributed is the ever pressing problem. Who gets what? Who gets what percent of the value added to material by the transformation? In a capitalist system, if a human goes to market to purchase material to produce a useful item they pay for the human labor-value added by the extraction process and a profit premium. Then they purchase labor from the pool of skilled craftspersons, who apply that labor to the material to transform it. Now the useful items produced have the value of the extraction auseful nd the value of the labor applied in transformation added unto them. Not only that, but also the value of the tools wear, which is also a product of labor, is added to the finished useful item. Finally, the human who used their accumulated wealth (no matter the source) to purchase the materials and labor will want to sell the useful items and extract a profit. To do that, they will add all the costs together, then add a profit premium to the sum for the total price of the items. Because in every single thing that humans have ever produced there is embodied value in the form of human labor, a question arises. Does that labor-value ever vanish into thin air, or is it ever present one way or the other? One way that value is preserved is by its representation in currency and money. The other way is in the items we all use and own. Sometimes, like recently in California, fire can consume the useful items, destroying the labor-value, use-value, or any other kind of value except that found in ash. Labor-value is consumed if humans, or machines are employed to stop the fire, or destruction. Thus the remains would have new labor-value added by the efforts to preserve them.Indeed the old labor-value is lost in the fires. It is reclaimed by nature. The reclamation of materials from humans by nature, like by fire for instance, is the primary way that human labor-value is lost. Otherwise it is not lost. Even if you find a hand axe produced by one of our human ancestors 3 million years ago, the labor-value created way back then is still present. The capitalist will add a premium making that labor very valuable indeed. This is the way of Socialist. Socialism is a critique of economic systems, not an economic system itself. Remove the false notions created about Socialism by cold war propagandists, and learn the truth of the matter.

I've been thinking about the 2018 election results and the 2020 prospects this morning. I guess I'm happy with New Mexico's results, but think things could be even better. Things can always be even better. The process can be better. It is a good idea to have continual process improvement. One way I believe the process can be improved is by all registered voters to go “No Party”. Drop out and tune in. The parties are the major source of our government’s dysfunction. The majority of the people believe that the political parties are pretty much the same in promoting certain special interests. Big money interests. That’s not the only thing by far. I could make a list. Maybe you should make a list too. Make a list of the things you would like to see changed in our civilization. If you’re going to make a list like that, you may as well follow up with some ideas on how to fix, change or make better the policy, process or law you’re unhappy with. Then make that list public. Make your elected representatives aware of your desires by sending them a copy of your list. There is something I believe that all of us should take stock of a phenomenon that’s been happening of late. Newcomers, political outsiders and political unknowns upsetting incumbents and party favorites in races all over the place. I think that is a very good thing, but it could always be better. What if everyone registered “No Party” in the time between now and the 2020 general election? What if thousands of people started circulating petitions to get themselves places on the 2020 ballot for a seat in the Senate or something else? What if someone like you, and thousands of others, took your list of grievances and solutions to the people and ran for an office as a “No Party” candidate? What kind of effect would that have on the political landscape? How would party bosses, political insiders, incumbents and big money donors react to that? I believe that if there was a wave of people registering as “No Party”, at first no one would take much notice. Then as the number of people doing that increased the media would catch on and say something about the trend. The parties would ignore it, or say that it is only temporary. As time goes by, and we get closer to the Democratic and Republican party primaries, then the political parties would start to worry as they see their membership dwindle. As the number of people dropping out of the parties and registering No Party increases to the tens of millions, the party bosses and incumbents would start to panic. If the number of people registered to political parties decrease to an anemic level the political parties would have no choice other than to open up the political process to everyone. They would have to change their policy because if everyone dropped out of their parties who would vote in their primaries? Who would vote that straight party ticket which keeps that incumbent in office? The political parties would be in a crisis situation in which the parties very survival would be at stake. In an effort to keep the parties afloat, the party politicians would be forced to call for open primaries in every state. After that happens the power of the political parties would be greatly diminished. The vote would no longer be split primarily between two political special interest entities. There would be many people like you running for office under no party banners. The voters would have a better pool of candidates to pick their champion from. The voters wouldn’t have the same undesirable people crammed down their throats every few years, and for decades. It all starts with you and us. Please, for the sake of us all, make your list. Go to your Secretary of State’s office and register as “No Party” affiliation. Go to your Secretary of State’s office, or web site, and study up on how YOU can run for political office in 2020 as a No Party candidate. Do it now because if you are going to take up the cause, you’re going to have to get several thousand signatures on a petition to get your name on the 2020 ballot. There are deadlines to meet. We all know we got a lot of problems. I don’t have to spell it out for you. Anyone of average intelligence, and who keeps up knows the list is long. We also know that things are not getting any better. If anything does get better, it is marginal, and people immediately try to end the policy or law that caused things to get better. I know we’re all sick and tired of all this mess. So let’s do something about it. Let’s all register as No Party, make a list of grievances and solutions, petition to get your name on the 2020 ballot. We can make things better. We have to bind together in action and thought in order to get the things we want for ourselves, our families and the future generations. Indeed the future generations. Whatever we do for ourselves now, we do for our generations to come. They will either praise us for our wisdom in confronting and solving our pressing problems today, or they will curse us and hate us for what we have done and not done. Let them not curse us. Let them look back upon our times as when humanity started to become truly benevolent and an enlightened species. It starts with you and me, and it starts now. New Mexico gubernatorial election, 2018 Party Candidate Votes % Democratic Michelle Lujan Grisham/Howie Morales 392,215 57.08 Republican Steve Pearce/Michelle Holmes 294,875 42.92 Total votes 687,090 100.00 Need 20,613 valid signatures on a ballot.

You work for an hour (labor-value) and create $x amount of base wealth (trade-value). From that wealth the employer deducts the costs of production plus a percentage for profit and taxes. Part of the cost of production is the agreed upon wage paid ($x) for that hour worked by the laborer (labor-value) to create the base wealth. Therefore the laborer never gets the true value of their labor because it is discounted by production costs, profits and taxes. What’s more, the employer is incentivised to cut the wage of the labor so that value can be diverted to profits. The laborer receives a symbolic representation of the agreed upon portion of the wealth they created from their labor in the form of currency. Once that currency, or symbol of labor-value, is in the hands of the wage earner, there is further discounting of that value. Inflation is the major discounter of labor-value. You might expend 1 hour of labor at the agreed upon wage to purchase 1 loaf of bread today, then find that you have to work 1.25 hours tomorrow to buy that same loaf tomorrow. A month goes by and so too does the memory of that loaf at half the cost because inflation eats away at your labor-value every day. The added currency costs represented by inflation go into the pocket of the producer. They raised the price of their product because either production costs or taxes went up, which then caused the percentage of profit to go down, or they just wanted to see what the market will bare. Nevertheless, there is a discounting of labor-value when wage earners expend labor-value (currency) on commodities because of inflation. The Government is responsible for making sure that the money supply is in proper balance with the economic needs of a nation. Daily, wealth is being created by labor. Daily, purchases are made for commodities needed by both production and consumption alike. At the end of the day, all books should balance at zero, but they do not. When you have a monetary system that prints currency on a whim, such as our system of promissory notes, flooding the system there will be an excess of currency each day. Thus the capitalistic system attempts to absorb that excess with higher prices. This situation would seem to further erode the purchasing power of labor-value, causing people to work even longer for the same gains as yesterday. In the end, the value of labor, or the amount of commodities that may be acquired by working for an hour, is diminished and attacked at every front. Labor is an easy target because it is largely unprotected, and the only thing that most people have to sell. Solutions? Price controls. Wage controls. Currency based on a commodity with a fixed value, such as gold, platinum or silver. DIsband the private stock market and banks, favoring a federally operated system. Nationalize all resources of minerals and energy which are in their natural state, untapped, which exist on and off the planet Earth. Your ideas?

How do they plan on classifying hermaphrodites? Trump's idea was probably conceived in hate, or vindictiveness. I still say that the people who are the most rabid anti-gay most likely had 1, or more, adolesent homosexaul experences and now are ashamed because of peer pressure. Kind of like their attempt to build a facuad of character that might say “Never did, were, are they gay.” They try to hide their youthful experimentation with trying on mommy’s undies, or playing doctors with a same sex playmate. Be very careful in confronting some people with this. The reason is, this thing is true for a lot of people. People who would rather see you or me dead than have their secret exposed. Hillary and Billary, need to be placed in a pillory. Then people from far and wide can come pelt them with tomatoes on their hide. Would that damage their over blown pride? I doubt it! They got so much to hide. We can go from Whitewater to Benghazi Bill’s White House antice Illisit romantics It was a Clinton-Scandal Primer It made the lights go dimmer...for us Then 2016 was the wildest thing you ever seen. 2 dozen GOP all on stage Venting at each other with all hell’s rage One thing they all agreed Hillary for pres is a bad bad seed So they sing a song of “We hate that bitch” The crowd roars because they got scratched their political itch That’s all the crowd cares about too. So they go Hillary and Billary Lock them up in the pillory hand over that tomato I want to hurry and throw Then I will go and know nothing changed

Monday, November 24, 2014 New World Order Needed to Stop Human Caused Climate Change Here are some of the things that I believe need to be done to stop human caused global climate change. I doubt any of it will ever be done unless the worlds population goes through extreme hardship first. The expanding human population is the reason I believe the Climate Summit the President attended with their agreements are to little, to late. There will still be a net increase in carbon emissions, and global temperatures will continue to rise. We need a net decrease, and to get it people will not like what we must do. I really am skeptical that people will be willing to do it, so we will have to continue to do as we do now, which is try to mitigate the damages.

This is what I think our species needs to do.

1. Reduce the on planet human population to 3 billion. (1959 level) a. Make it unlawful, and a social taboo to have more than one child per household, worldwide. 2. Ground all aircraft used for civilian transport. a. See super-rail transport. 3. Eliminate the private ownership of automobiles. a. See local system of human mass transport. 4. Build a global system of super-rail transport. a. Construct a rail system several gauges larger than being used today. b. Construct bridges that would connect Alaska with Siberia, traverse the Straits of Gibraltar and connect South Asia with Australia, to be used for the super-rail. c. Construct rail cars that would rival Boeing 747 aircraft in size. 1. Power the system with solar power. 2. Equip the super-rail cars with business suites that could be leased for rolling offices. 5. Build local systems of human mass transit. a. Buses, light rail, electric public automobiles. 6. Retrofit all private homes and all businesses with solar power systems. 7. Eliminate oil, and coal fired power generation. 8. Limit the production of animal food products like beef and pork. 9. Begin a massive world wide effort to industrialize space. a. Cause all heavy industry to be placed off-world. 1. orbital 2. moon and moon orbit 3. Mars and Mars orbit 10. Construct orbital solar arrays to harvest energy from the sun, and beam it to earth. 11. Begin a massive effort to colonize the moon and Mars. 12. Begin a massive effort to harvest near Earth asteroids for metals, and volatile substances.

I'm pretty sure if humans did all these things, and other things that are not yet apparent we could return Earth to a stable state of being. The problem is, practically no one would be willing to endure a short term loss for a long term gain. The prevailing attitude is that we beat the odds before, we'll just wait and see, then deal with it as it comes. Mitigation is an option that is needed, but relied on to heavily. These methods may seem extreme. These ideas may seem radical. Well, they are. These ideas would require a whole New World Order, and people don't like the sound of that either. That is why I'm skeptical that any of it will ever happen, or that what our world leaders are doing now will help matters. © 2017 James E Parks Jr,.

The argument presented above is a Socialist thought. Unlike what some people would have you believe, Socialists are not concerned with taking half of what you have. They are concerned with understanding the way wealth is created and distributed. The Socialist concerns themselves with the proper compensation to labor of a portion of the wealth they produce. The Socialist wants to analyze the relationship between labor and capital. I really don’t see what is so dangerous about that to the commoner. I understand fully the dangers imposed by Socialist thought to the Capitalists. The structure of the privileged classes in the modern era is put in jeopardy.

Please allow me to inject a different way to view this gesture. It will take more than a couple words, so please bear with me. I see people looking at this as a "us-v-them" kind of a thing when it doesn't have to be. Because of legitimate perceptions of persecution thoughtful persons created a peaceful method to show protest. Let us all protest persecution in all its forms no matter how it arises, or against who it is perpetuated. Persecution is not felt by one member of the human species more intensely when it happens than any other. No being has any kind of one-ups-manship on persecution by degree, or ownership of symbols of protest. Instead of using the symbol of protest, kneeling, as a device that causes further division, how about every persecuted person standing, or kneeling, together in solidarity and shout “NO MORE!”. Let us stand together in solidarity and share. Then we will be a force for good that nothing evil can stand against, or defeat. Here’s the other half of this thought. Some people may say to themself, “What the hell does a white male know about any of it? More white privilege going on?” If any have a doubt, please reconsider. Reconsider because I reject all of it. Ask anyone who really knows this mind, I rebuke the dichotomy handed to me by colonialists forces. I reject the titles handed to me, or adopted by my ancestors, that were invented by 17th century slave traders. I am not a “white” person. There is no such animal as “white” person, nether is there a creature named “black” person except in the minds of the misinformed and the bigot. I am an American of Celtic Scott ancestry. My ancestors were the persecuted and the purveyors of persecution. They forgot who they really are. Their original cultural identity, Celt, was supplanted by another imposed on them by foreigners. They adopted the artificial identity invented by slave traders, white person, fully giving themselves over to it and forgetting the persecutions committed against their own ancestors. The peoples of the Earth commonly called “black” have also in large part lost sight of who they really are, but not so completely. They sure as heck aren’t some title/label given them by 17th century slave traders, namely “black”. They are in actuality, like me a Celt, a Zulu, or another cultural identity. Their true identity has also been supplanted by fictitious inventions of slave traders. Since virtually all of us of both genders in all social classes have been given a false bill of goods, we should step back and reconsider everything. We should abandon all notions of gender roles and class divisions because every last bit of it we have been given is a carefully illusion made to serve the few at the expense of the masses. #ProtestTogetherInSolidarity

There is a political commercial airing, and also paid for by a super-PAC, that attempts to raise anti-Socialist/Cold War propaganda against candidate Xochitl Torres. They warn that Torres wants the government to take over healthcare, do away with employer based healthcare and double your taxes. What a load of crap! Shame on them for being untruthful liars! Any person of average intelligence and awareness know that paying a premium to anyone for healthcare services is a tax. What difference does it make to you if the money is deducted from a paycheck for healthcare services by the government, or an insurance company? The money gets spent one way or the other, so the question remains, how much? One thing I think we can all agree on is that all private insurance companies are in it for the profit. Every time money goes out of your pocket to pay for private insurance based medical services a portion of that money goes into a CEO’s pocket. or corporate profit. Therefore it makes sense that giant insurance corporations will spend millions of dollars lying about socialism and the candidates who are in favor of it. If insurance companies were out of the healthcare picture, all that profit they are gobbling up, profits garnered off of suffering and death, could be put to better use than giving one person the ability to purchase $6000 bottles of wine to entertain a few well heeled friends. That money could serve the people who contributed it. So everytime you hear one of the deceptive political commercials against Socialist candidates and/or leftists and progressives like Xochitl Torres, tell them to “Talk to the hand! The face don’t want to hear it any more.”

They say “People cannot opt out of the new alert…”. They can opt out of the first alert by simply turning off their phone at 2:17 PM for a few minutes, but I wouldn’t advise it. I thought of turning off my phone. I just get a bad taste in my mouth with the words “presidential” these days. I wish they had called it something else. Something like “National Emergency Alert”, “Citizens Action Alert”, or anything other than a name that names a person other than the citizens, like the president. These alerts should focus on We the People, not their leader. This national warning system isn’t something that any individual should try to use as a vehicle for self aggrandizement. No area of the government should be used that way. All if the government and the people we have working within that should be selfless, serving the people’s will and interests, only. No Party Open Primaries No Secret Political Donors of Any Type Uniform Election Laws Across the Nation Political Donations of Money Should be Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that the $16 trillion used to bail out criminal bankers and Wall Street oligarchs was equal to the amount it would cost to fund 91 Apollo programs from start to finish, and at the same time, Considering the success of the Apollo program, its tech spinoffs, the employment created during that program and the new knowledge we have about interplanetary resources and energy, coupled with the 21st century technology at our disposal, it would have been vastly better to have funded 91 Apollo in scale programs than to bail out unappreciative money grubbers. We could have been harvesting astoradal platinum and have a good start on moon and Mars colonization if we had of done Apollo X 91. Imagine the 400,000 jobs created by the Apollo program at its height. 91 X 400,000 = 34 million+ jobs. Look up if you want jobs. You can’t expand forever in a closed system.

Thanks for helping to enlighten me about Socialism., Prof. Wolff. Your video "Socialism for Dummies" started me off. Your 5 part lecture series "Marxian Class Analysis Theory And Practice" was my next step in becoming more informed. Das Kapital by Karl Marx is now under my belt too. In the meantime I have also viewed movies like "Les Miserables" and others on the Bolshevik Revolution. Rounding it out, I have learned about something about the history and evolution of economic systems like slavery, feudalism, capitalism, fascism and others. It was necessary for me to read the Constitution of the United States again. Re-familiarizing myself with the words of the Founding Fathers, their writings, their deeds and lives helped me to understand the environment in which the founding documents this nation were written. Thanks to people like Prof. Wolff, Bernie Sanders, Cornel West, Karl Marx and many other learned scholars, I am now able to make better choices about what I want for our civilization and its people. I am better able to understand the tricks and deception that has been affecting all of us in a negative way. Now just today in our modern world, but going back centuries and leading up to our present troubles. I will continue to study as best I can with the mental faculties provided me by the universe. I only hope those faculties are sufficient to enable me to obtain more understanding, and banish misunderstanding. I will continue to convey what I learn to others in hopes that they too will follow this path to greater understanding and also share it. I vow to continue as best I can in the spirit of Liberty, Equality and Community.

Gentrification, not taxes, seem to be the biggest factor. #TellTheTruth “People making $55,000 or less a year were mostly moving out of California between 2007 and 2016, the report found, while people making more than $200,000 a year moved in.”

Greetings Mr. Ojeda, My name is James Parks Jr. I viewed with great interest some of the some of your video speeches. The TYT interview got me going. I agree fully with everything you said. Because of the words you said, and I fully believe you meant each one, I am hopeful for our nation. I would like to ask you some things, but first I want you to know who is talking to you. I am a 61 year old Navy veteran. I was in the aviation industry for 35 years. I am also a former delegate for the Democrat party in New Mexico. I am a survivor of hepatitis C and neck cancer. During the time I was being treated for HCV and cancer by the Veterans Administration Hospital I used cannabis to help me get through. I still use cannabis and possess a New Mexico Cannabis license. I didn’t go overseas to fight the whole time I served. In fact, I was discharged with a general under honorable conditions discharge because I was caught with cannabis. That was back in 1977. Every time you mentioned your service, and standing on post, it hit home. Not because I ever seen combat, but because so many if my family has. My father retired a Master Chief Gunner’s Mate after 21 years and a tour in Korea and Vietnam. He told me stories I’ll never forget, and drove home to me exactly what was at stake, and what serving meant. Even though my time served was short, and the only posts I manned as a guard was Podium Watches, Line Watches and such, I did step up. I got ruined when I got sick. I couldn’t work and almost found myself on the street. By the time the Federal Judge awarded me Social Security Disability, I lost all I had and was in poverty. I was surviving on $200 a month in food stamps, and whatever else I could scrape up. It is hard to scrape up funds when one is very sick with cancer, or HCV treatment. Being ruined when one gets sick should not be happening in America to anyone, much less a loyal veteran who worked all his life in industry serving and helping to make America. We must not abandon our people. You mentioned the Blue Wave and gave a warning to the Democrat Party. I gave them a warning too! I gave the Democratic Party of New Mexico a warning that I better see some real attempts to fix what I and many other people seen as broken, and not serving the party membership. I got disappointed when I heard news stories of party bully boys going to Colorido to try to force out a new progressive in the recent primaries. One of our congresspersons here is now running for governor and the state party chair is running for congress. Things are a mess with the Democrats, Republicans and all the rest. None of the will disown the concept of superdelegates. I dropped out of the Democratic Party of New Mexico and registered as No Party. I doubt you are going to be happy for long being a part of the Democratic party machine. Even though the Democratic Party is preferable to the Republican party, they too are corrupt. I have come to the conclusion that the existence of political parties are a part of the problem. I urge all voters to register as “No Party” by the tens of millions. I believe doing so would bring about effective positive change for several reasons. I want to address your comments on Social Security and the Veterans Healthcare System. In general it seemed that you expressed deep concern about the constant attacks on these systems that so many Americans depend on. I, for one, would most likely have been dead for a number of years now if it wasn’t for the care I received from the VA. I am also dependent on Social Security Disability for income now because of damages to my body from sickness. I don’t want these programs ended, or privatised. I want them expanded, and I have an idea of how to do it, but I digress. Both of those programs are social programs. They are a safety net for many of our people. The problem is, like the hungry children you mentioned, that net doesn’t catch all the people in need! I mentioned the social aspect of those two programs because I am leading up to something, but don’t want to turn you off. So now I am going to mention a word, and hope you don’t bolt. I doubt you will. The word is Socialism. Both the VA and Social Security are Socialist type programs. I am a Socialist, and would hope you would thoughtfully consider the ideology, if you haven’t already. I am not going to try to convince you of the merits of Socialism. I will tell you that we all have been lied to about Socialism in the same manner we were lied to about cannabis. Damn near every last thing I hear Capitalists say about Socialism is a lie. All of the bad effects the power mongers say Socialism will cause is being caused right now by Capitalism. The current political situation with all the corrupt politicians you’re dealing with right now is a result of Capitalism. Because I have a real good feeling that you actually are cut from a different cloth from most of the rest, I’m reaching out. I think you do really care about this nation, and will do the right things as a Congressperson. I urge you, and encourage you, if you haven’t already, to study what Socialism is. Read the leftist literature. Read Das Kapitol by Karl Marx. Study the revolutions and change that happened in Europe during the French revolution, and Russia too. No wonder the money grubbers were able to trash the concept when people used the name of Socialism for selfish purposes. Please view some video by Richard Wolff. I’ll give you some links. I wager you’re very busy. I hope you can find the time to consider these things, or that you will at all. I think you are a man of reason. I think you, like me, got their eyes opened up. I think you will keep seeking the truth of the matters at hand. Thanks for reading this, if you did. If you wish to correspond, that would be welcome. Maybe you can help me be more effective in making the changes we need.

I would advise you to listen to the speech of this warrior. He is a real warrior, who knows who needs defense. He is a veteran. Now as a civilian he seems to be fighting for We the People instead of Mr. Moneybags now. I wish we had people running for office like him here in New Mexico. I wish we had people like hm all up and down the line. If a concerned citizen like Mrs. Ford coming forward is put away as false or unimportant because of partisan interests, how can any of us be confident that when we bring a grievance to our government, like guaranteed by the Constitution, that we will be taken seriously?

The term "under penalty of felony" has been bothering me all day. I've never heard that term used before this Kavanaugh mess. I believe they are using those words for a hoped for effect. Wouldn’t a statement like “they gave sworn testimony” be the normal phrase used? I think the words they chose were chosen to make the written testimony denying the claims seem more credible. After all, who would purposefully perjure themselves, so they must be telling the truth, the logic might go. Don’t let corrupt politicians confuse you with well chosen words. They are well chosen and do affect many minds. Be smarter than them. Kavanaugh’s resistance to an FBI investigation has nothing to do with guilt, or innocence. The resistance to an FBI investigation is due to the fact the Republicans want to get Kavanaugh confirmed for SCOTUS before November. An FBI investigation might delay that. All of this has roots in the Obama presidency. When Obama nominated Merrick Garland to replace Antonin Scalia 11 Republican members of the Senate Judiciary Committee signed a letter to Mitch McConnell stating their intention of withholding consent on any nominee made by president Obama until after Jan. 20, 2017 when the next president took office. Chuck Grassley and Orrin Hatch were signers. Later on, Mr. McConnell used procedural tricks to cram through Trump’s SCOTUS nomination by calling for a vote to disregard the Senate Protem ruling on the use of a supermajority. That, and the denial of consent for the other was like throwing down the gauntlet. The Democratic Party was mistreated by these Republican actions, so now they are going to do everything they can to keep what they see, and I do too, as partisan right wing judges off the bench. So now you have the Republican and Democratic political parties battling it out, using every tool they can, good or bad, to keep, or try to get power by placing judges that are sympathetic to their cause, or keeping out them who are not! The political circus being played out in Washington is a symptom of an underlying problem. That problem being extreme political partisanship, and big money industry influence in the political system. It is my profound belief that political parties have become toxic to the very principles our nation should be upholding. They are more beholding to Mr. Moneybags than they are to Mr. and Mrs. Average citizen. Therefore the people are going to have to wrest power out of their hands. To wrest that power out of the political party’s hands, all the people who are registered with their state as a member of a political party needs to go re-register as “No Party”. People have got to stop voting straight party tickets. The voters of this nation need to drop out of the political parties, in mass. When they do, the political parties will endeavour to keep power by pushing for open primaries in all states that don’t have them. They will have to if they expect to have anyone vote in their primary. Political parties would be pretty meaningless after that except for one other factor that has to be addressed. The other thing that has got to be addresses stood out like a sore thumb at the Kavanaugh/King hearings. It is the practise of placing a member of the majority political party as chair for any committee, that includes the Speaker of the House’s chair. All the chairs of all the committees should be non-partisan, only concerning themself with the people’s business. During the Kavanaugh proceedings, right or wrong, political partisanship was there. If all people registered as No Party, and all committees in Washington were chaired by non-partisans, the entire focus in Washington would turn away from exclusively big business, and the well heeled, to We the People.

“The minimum value of the value of labor-power is determined by the value of the commodities, without the daily supply of which the laborer cannot renew his vital energy, Means of Production = Material + Tool + Labor Material and labor are naturally occuring, while tool is a product of the Means of Production. The only tool that is not a product of the Means of Production are the living hands of the labor. Because material and labor are naturally occuring, the people have title to them. Because tool is a product of Means of Production, they may be the exclusive property of an individual, along with their labor. Materials = natural resources. No person ever caused a material to magically appear by use of a machine + labor. One must obtain any material needed for production from the natural environment. By right of existence, any creature may extract resources from the natural environment in order to continue their existence. That includes the human animal. Thus all naturally occuring materials and energy are the property of the people. A lot of people say that Socialism is “The ownership of the Means of Production by the People.” I say that Socialism is the equitable division of wealth. That wealth is embodied in extracted materials, labor and finished goods.Who has control of what? At present, a few people have gained control of materials, labor, tools and finished goods. The current situation leaves the seller of their labor in a bad situation. The situation today, which is not a naturally occuring development, is enforced by threat of violence. The people who have somehow positioned themselves to reap the greatest benefit from the Means of Production (Capitalists) are unwilling to easily give up that control. Because naturally occuring materials and energy are the property of the people, the people should derive the greatest benefit from their use. No person should be excluded from the benefits of materials extraction and use. A gold nugget has no value while it lays in a stream bed except for potential value imagined by humans. Until someone picks up the nugget, uses labor to fashion a commodity, then orrers it up in exchange, the potential value is locked up. That locked up value belongs to We the People. Thus all naturally occurring resources of materials and energy must be nationalized. Just like the air we breath, or the sunshine that warms our skin, all of it belongs to the People. It is their legacy. Their right to own and to use shall not be usurped by greedy individuals. Their labor is by right of birth also the exclusive property of the individual. They must be compensated properly for the expenditure of their labor. The means of production that is embodied in tools, which themselves are commodities, should be ownable by an individual. The means of production that is embodied in materials and labor are the property of the people, and should by right of birth, be given over to We the People. We the People should be able to dictate the where, when, what and how of material extraction, just the same as they are able to dictate the focus of their labor. They own it. The Means of Production is not merely the buildings and machines that produce commodities. It is the sum total of the factors necessary for the production of commodities. Therefore, let the greedy Capitalist take comfort in the knowledge that no New Era Socialist wants to “take their stuff” and distribute it to people who don’t work.

The New Era Socialist endeavours to cause the rightful property of the people (materials + labor), which are a part of the Means of Production, to benefit the people in an equitable manner. Rewarding each with the fruits of this world in a more natural way, benefitting all.

Okay! So I listened to the president's speech. I can't say I disagree with him more on a whole lot of stuff.

President Donald Trump's statement to the United Nations General Assembly on Sept. 25, 2018.

“Madam President, Mr. Secretary-General, world leaders, ambassadors, and distinguished delegates: One year ago, I stood before you for the first time in this grand hall. I addressed the threats facing our world, and I presented a vision to achieve a brighter future for all of humanity.” I disagree right off the bat. It was more of a putting the world on notice. An effort to show who has the biggest package in the room. “Today, I stand before the United Nations General Assembly to share the extraordinary progress we’ve made. In less than two years, my administration has accomplished more than almost any administration in the history of our country. America’s -- so true. [Laughter] Didn’t expect that reaction, but that’s okay. [Laughter and applause.]” I bet he didn’t expect that reaction. I also bet it wasn’t okay. Not in his mind. He thinks everything he says is so profound that the notion of world leaders with vastly more experience at being a leader would laugh at his braggadocio. His amateurish attempt at eloquent speech is truly laughable. “America’s economy is booming like never before. Since my election, we’ve added $10 trillion in wealth. The stock market is at an all-time high in history, and jobless claims are at a 50-year low. African American, Hispanic American, and Asian American unemployment have all achieved their lowest levels ever recorded. We’ve added more than 4 million new jobs, including half a million manufacturing jobs.” The most jobs were added in the service sector. In other words, low paying jobs that don’t require much education. “We have passed the biggest tax cuts and reforms in American history. We’ve started the construction of a major border wall, and we have greatly strengthened border security.” Tax cuts for people who don’t need them while we drive up the national debt and blame Social Security recipients for that debt. Started construction? The funding hasn’t been approved for that stupid wall. Mexico sure as hell isn’t paying for it so what’s up with the “started construction” remark? Trump’s such a braggart, he brags about stuff that he hasn’t even done. “We have secured record funding for our military -- $700 billion this year, and $716 billion next year. Our military will soon be more powerful than it has ever been before.” Yeah! Instead of being as strong as the next 9 nation’s militaries, we’ll be as strong as every military combined on the entire planet! Then we’ll kick the planets ass! “In other words, the United States is stronger, safer, and a richer country than it was when I assumed office less than two years ago.” So, fuck you all! “We are standing up for America and for the American people. And we are also standing up for the world.” Is that standing up “for”, or “to”? “This is great news for our citizens and for peace-loving people everywhere. We believe that when nations respect the rights of their neighbors, and defend the interests of their people, they can better work together to secure the blessings of safety, prosperity, and peace.” That is a false premise. If nations only worry about the interests of people within their own borders, the rights of their neighbors will become sacrifice to the interests they wish to protect. Thus, the blessings of safety, prosperity, and peace will be conferred upon one, but not the other, and by force of arms. If you don’t believe it, ask the native inhabitants of the North American continent. “Each of us here today is the emissary of a distinct culture, a rich history, and a people bound together by ties of memory, tradition, and the values that make our homelands like nowhere else on Earth. That is why America will always choose independence and cooperation over global governance, control, and domination. I honor the right of every nation in this room to pursue its own customs, beliefs, and traditions. The United States will not tell you how to live or work or worship. We only ask that you honor our sovereignty in return.” Like Argentina. We respect their rights as long as they aren’t Socialists. That’s where we draw the line, and with oil. We also respect the sovereignty of all nations that don’t have oil, or other resources we want. Then colonialism kicks back in full throttle. From Warsaw to Brussels, to Tokyo to Singapore, it has been my highest honor to represent the United States abroad. I have forged close relationships and friendships and strong partnerships with the leaders of many nations in this room, and our approach has already yielded incredible change. With support from many countries here today, we have engaged with North Korea to replace the specter of conflict with a bold and new push for peace. In June, I traveled to Singapore to meet face to face with North Korea’s leader, Chairman Kim Jong Un. We had highly productive conversations and meetings, and we agreed that it was in both countries’ interest to pursue the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula. Since that meeting, we have already seen a number of encouraging measures that few could have imagined only a short time ago. The missiles and rockets are no longer flying in every direction. Nuclear testing has stopped. Some military facilities are already being dismantled. Our hostages have been released. And as promised, the remains of our fallen heroes are being returned home to lay at rest in American soil. I would like to thank Chairman Kim for his courage and for the steps he has taken, though much work remains to be done. The sanctions will stay in place until denuclearization occurs. I also want to thank the many member states who helped us reach this moment -- a moment that is actually far greater than people would understand; far greater -- but for also their support and the critical support that we will all need going forward. A special thanks to President Moon of South Korea, Prime Minister Abe of Japan, and President Xi of China. In the Middle East, our new approach is also yielding great strides and very historic change. Following my trip to Saudi Arabia last year, the Gulf countries opened a new center to target terrorist financing. They are enforcing new sanctions, working with us to identify and track terrorist networks, and taking more responsibility for fighting terrorism and extremism in their own region. Donald Trump WHITE HOUSE Trump won't meet Rouhani at U.N., calls him 'absolutely lovely man' By LOUIS NELSON The UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar have pledged billions of dollars to aid the people of Syria and Yemen. And they are pursuing multiple avenues to ending Yemen’s horrible, horrific civil war. Ultimately, it is up to the nations of the region to decide what kind of future they want for themselves and their children. For that reason, the United States is working with the Gulf Cooperation Council, Jordan, and Egypt to establish a regional strategic alliance so that Middle Eastern nations can advance prosperity, stability, and security across their home region. Thanks to the United States military and our partnership with many of your nations, I am pleased to report that the bloodthirsty killers known as ISIS have been driven out from the territory they once held in Iraq and Syria. We will continue to work with friends and allies to deny radical Islamic terrorists any funding, territory or support, or any means of infiltrating our borders. The ongoing tragedy in Syria is heartbreaking. Our shared goals must be the de-escalation of military conflict, along with a political solution that honors the will of the Syrian people. In this vein, we urge the United Nations-led peace process be reinvigorated. But, rest assured, the United States will respond if chemical weapons are deployed by the Assad regime. I commend the people of Jordan and other neighboring countries for hosting refugees from this very brutal civil war. As we see in Jordan, the most compassionate policy is to place refugees as close to their homes as possible to ease their eventual return to be part of the rebuilding process. This approach also stretches finite resources to help far more people, increasing the impact of every dollar spent. Every solution to the humanitarian crisis in Syria must also include a strategy to address the brutal regime that has fueled and financed it: the corrupt dictatorship in Iran. Iran’s leaders sow chaos, death, and destruction. They do not respect their neighbors or borders, or the sovereign rights of nations. Instead, Iran’s leaders plunder the nation’s resources to enrich themselves and to spread mayhem across the Middle East and far beyond. The Iranian people are rightly outraged that their leaders have embezzled billions of dollars from Iran’s treasury, seized valuable portions of the economy, and looted the people’s religious endowments, all to line their own pockets and send their proxies to wage war. Not good. Iran’s neighbors have paid a heavy toll for the region's [regime’s] agenda of aggression and expansion. That is why so many countries in the Middle East strongly supported my decision to withdraw the United States from the horrible 2015 Iran Nuclear Deal and re-impose nuclear sanctions. The Iran deal was a windfall for Iran’s leaders. In the years since the deal was reached, Iran’s military budget grew nearly 40 percent. The dictatorship used the funds to build nuclear-capable missiles, increase internal repression, finance terrorism, and fund havoc and slaughter in Syria and Yemen. The United States has launched a campaign of economic pressure to deny the regime the funds it needs to advance its bloody agenda. Last month, we began re-imposing hard-hitting nuclear sanctions that had been lifted under the Iran deal. Additional sanctions will resume November 5th, and more will follow. And we're working with countries that import Iranian crude oil to cut their purchases substantially. We cannot allow the world’s leading sponsor of terrorism to possess the planet’s most dangerous weapons. We cannot allow a regime that chants “Death to America,” and that threatens Israel with annihilation, to possess the means to deliver a nuclear warhead to any city on Earth. Just can't do it. We ask all nations to isolate Iran’s regime as long as its aggression continues. And we ask all nations to support Iran’s people as they struggle to reclaim their religious and righteous destiny. This year, we also took another significant step forward in the Middle East. In recognition of every sovereign state to determine its own capital, I moved the U.S. Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem. The United States is committed to a future of peace and stability in the region, including peace between the Israelis and the Palestinians. That aim is advanced, not harmed, by acknowledging the obvious facts. America’s policy of principled realism means we will not be held hostage to old dogmas, discredited ideologies, and so-called experts who have been proven wrong over the years, time and time again. This is true not only in matters of peace, but in matters of prosperity. We believe that trade must be fair and reciprocal. The United States will not be taken advantage of any longer. For decades, the United States opened its economy -- the largest, by far, on Earth -- with few conditions. We allowed foreign goods from all over the world to flow freely across our borders. Yet, other countries did not grant us fair and reciprocal access to their markets in return. Even worse, some countries abused their openness to dump their products, subsidize their goods, target our industries, and manipulate their currencies to gain unfair advantage over our country. As a result, our trade deficit ballooned to nearly $800 billion a year. For this reason, we are systematically renegotiating broken and bad trade deals. Last month, we announced a groundbreaking U.S.-Mexico trade agreement. And just yesterday, I stood with President Moon to announce the successful completion of the brand new U.S.-Korea trade deal. And this is just the beginning. President Donald Trump WASHINGTON AND THE WORLD China Fills a Trump-Sized Vacuum at the U.N. By RICHARD GOWAN Many nations in this hall will agree that the world trading system is in dire need of change. For example, countries were admitted to the World Trade Organization that violate every single principle on which the organization is based. While the United States and many other nations play by the rules, these countries use government-run industrial planning and state-owned enterprises to rig the system in their favor. They engage in relentless product dumping, forced technology transfer, and the theft of intellectual property. The United States lost over 3 million manufacturing jobs, nearly a quarter of all steel jobs, and 60,000 factories after China joined the WTO. And we have racked up $13 trillion in trade deficits over the last two decades. But those days are over. We will no longer tolerate such abuse. We will not allow our workers to be victimized, our companies to be cheated, and our wealth to be plundered and transferred. America will never apologize for protecting its citizens. The United States has just announced tariffs on another $200 billion in Chinese-made goods for a total, so far, of $250 billion. I have great respect and affection for my friend, President Xi, but I have made clear our trade imbalance is just not acceptable. China’s market distortions and the way they deal cannot be tolerated. As my administration has demonstrated, America will always act in our national interest. I spoke before this body last year and warned that the U.N. Human Rights Council had become a grave embarrassment to this institution, shielding egregious human rights abusers while bashing America and its many friends. Our Ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley, laid out a clear agenda for reform, but despite reported and repeated warnings, no action at all was taken. So the United States took the only responsible course: We withdrew from the Human Rights Council, and we will not return until real reform is enacted. For similar reasons, the United States will provide no support in recognition to the International Criminal Court. As far as America is concerned, the ICC has no jurisdiction, no legitimacy, and no authority. The ICC claims near-universal jurisdiction over the citizens of every country, violating all principles of justice, fairness, and due process. We will never surrender America’s sovereignty to an unelected, unaccountable, global bureaucracy. America is governed by Americans. We reject the ideology of globalism, and we embrace the doctrine of patriotism. Around the world, responsible nations must defend against threats to sovereignty not just from global governance, but also from other, new forms of coercion and domination. In America, we believe strongly in energy security for ourselves and for our allies. We have become the largest energy producer anywhere on the face of the Earth. The United States stands ready to export our abundant, affordable supply of oil, clean coal, and natural gas. OPEC and OPEC nations, are, as usual, ripping off the rest of the world, and I don’t like it. Nobody should like it. We defend many of these nations for nothing, and then they take advantage of us by giving us high oil prices. Not good. We want them to stop raising prices, we want them to start lowering prices, and they must contribute substantially to military protection from now on. We are not going to put up with it -- these horrible prices -- much longer. Reliance on a single foreign supplier can leave a nation vulnerable to extortion and intimidation. That is why we congratulate European states, such as Poland, for leading the construction of a Baltic pipeline so that nations are not dependent on Russia to meet their energy needs. Germany will become totally dependent on Russian energy if it does not immediately change course. Here in the Western Hemisphere, we are committed to maintaining our independence from the encroachment of expansionist foreign powers. It has been the formal policy of our country since President Monroe that we reject the interference of foreign nations in this hemisphere and in our own affairs. The United States has recently strengthened our laws to better screen foreign investments in our country for national security threats, and we welcome cooperation with countries in this region and around the world that wish to do the same. You need to do it for your own protection. The United States is also working with partners in Latin America to confront threats to sovereignty from uncontrolled migration. Tolerance for human struggling and human smuggling and trafficking is not humane. It's a horrible thing that's going on, at levels that nobody has ever seen before. It's very, very cruel. Illegal immigration funds criminal networks, ruthless gangs, and the flow of deadly drugs. Illegal immigration exploits vulnerable populations, hurts hardworking citizens, and has produced a vicious cycle of crime, violence, and poverty. Only by upholding national borders, destroying criminal gangs, can we break this cycle and establish a real foundation for prosperity. We recognize the right of every nation in this room to set its own immigration policy in accordance with its national interests, just as we ask other countries to respect our own right to do the same -- which we are doing. That is one reason the United States will not participate in the new Global Compact on Migration. Migration should not be governed by an international body unaccountable to our own citizens. Ultimately, the only long-term solution to the migration crisis is to help people build more hopeful futures in their home countries. Make their countries great again. Currently, we are witnessing a human tragedy, as an example, in Venezuela. More than 2 million people have fled the anguish inflicted by the socialist Maduro regime and its Cuban sponsors. Not long ago, Venezuela was one of the richest countries on Earth. Today, socialism has bankrupted the oil-rich nation and driven its people into abject poverty. Virtually everywhere socialism or communism has been tried, it has produced suffering, corruption, and decay. Socialism’s thirst for power leads to expansion, incursion, and oppression. All nations of the world should resist socialism and the misery that it brings to everyone. In that spirit, we ask the nations gathered here to join us in calling for the restoration of democracy in Venezuela. Today, we are announcing additional sanctions against the repressive regime, targeting Maduro’s inner circle and close advisors. We are grateful for all the work the United Nations does around the world to help people build better lives for themselves and their families. The United States is the world’s largest giver in the world, by far, of foreign aid. But few give anything to us. That is why we are taking a hard look at U.S. foreign assistance. That will be headed up by Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. We will examine what is working, what is not working, and whether the countries who receive our dollars and our protection also have our interests at heart. Moving forward, we are only going to give foreign aid to those who respect us and, frankly, are our friends. And we expect other countries to pay their fair share for the cost of their defense. The United States is committed to making the United Nations more effective and accountable. I have said many times that the United Nations has unlimited potential. As part of our reform effort, I have told our negotiators that the United States will not pay more than 25 percent of the U.N. peacekeeping budget. This will encourage other countries to step up, get involved, and also share in this very large burden. And we are working to shift more of our funding from assessed contributions to voluntary so that we can target American resources to the programs with the best record of success. Only when each of us does our part and contributes our share can we realize the U.N.’s highest aspirations. We must pursue peace without fear, hope without despair, and security without apology. Looking around this hall where so much history has transpired, we think of the many before us who have come here to address the challenges of their nations and of their times. And our thoughts turn to the same question that ran through all their speeches and resolutions, through every word and every hope. It is the question of what kind of world will we leave for our children and what kind of nations they will inherit. The dreams that fill this hall today are as diverse as the people who have stood at this podium, and as varied as the countries represented right here in this body are. It really is something. It really is great, great history. There is India, a free society over a billion people, successfully lifting countless millions out of poverty and into the middle class. There is Saudi Arabia, where King Salman and the Crown Prince are pursuing bold new reforms. There is Israel, proudly celebrating its 70th anniversary as a thriving democracy in the Holy Land. In Poland, a great people are standing up for their independence, their security, and their sovereignty. Many countries are pursuing their own unique visions, building their own hopeful futures, and chasing their own wonderful dreams of destiny, of legacy, and of a home. The whole world is richer, humanity is better, because of this beautiful constellation of nations, each very special, each very unique, and each shining brightly in its part of the world. In each one, we see awesome promise of a people bound together by a shared past and working toward a common future. As for Americans, we know what kind of future we want for ourselves. We know what kind of a nation America must always be. In America, we believe in the majesty of freedom and the dignity of the individual. We believe in self-government and the rule of law. And we prize the culture that sustains our liberty -– a culture built on strong families, deep faith, and fierce independence. We celebrate our heroes, we treasure our traditions, and above all, we love our country. Inside everyone in this great chamber today, and everyone listening all around the globe, there is the heart of a patriot that feels the same powerful love for your nation, the same intense loyalty to your homeland. The passion that burns in the hearts of patriots and the souls of nations has inspired reform and revolution, sacrifice and selflessness, scientific breakthroughs, and magnificent works of art. Our task is not to erase it, but to embrace it. To build with it. To draw on its ancient wisdom. And to find within it the will to make our nations greater, our regions safer, and the world better. To unleash this incredible potential in our people, we must defend the foundations that make it all possible. Sovereign and independent nations are the only vehicle where freedom has ever survived, democracy has ever endured, or peace has ever prospered. And so we must protect our sovereignty and our cherished independence above all. When we do, we will find new avenues for cooperation unfolding before us. We will find new passion for peacemaking rising within us. We will find new purpose, new resolve, and new spirit flourishing all around us, and making this a more beautiful world in which to live. So together, let us choose a future of patriotism, prosperity, and pride. Let us choose peace and freedom over domination and defeat. And let us come here to this place to stand for our people and their nations, forever strong, forever sovereign, forever just, and forever thankful for the grace and the goodness and the glory of God. Thank you. God bless you. And God bless the nations of the world. Thank you very much. Thank you. Trump

People by right of birth should have food, water, shelter, clothing, healthcare and education. If a person is unwilling, or unable, to provide for themselves these things, they should at least receive the basics, even if a tiny bit spartan. Next are low skill workers and the disabled. They should receive all the basics, plus a premium on the labor they provide. The disabled should receive at least equal to the amount of the low skilled worker, also with a premium for time served. All crafts and skills should be paid equally, except a premium for added education, experience and factoring in danger and innovation. Whatever the case, the difference between the highest paid and the lowest paid earner should not be determined by a boardroom without input from the workers. The worker should have an equal say, then people would be paid according to merit, and not according to greed.

When you work a traditional 40 hour week, you have created value by using your labor. What is the value of that labor you provided with your body? How should that be evaluated? In the end, you create labor-value, use-value and trade-value, all of which are embodied in the production's end, a commodity. The managers will exchange the commodity for currency + premium so that they may recoup value put into the commodity and create surplus value, i.e. profit. Part of the value the manager wishes to recoup is the labor-value they compensate you for providing. That is the rub. That is the central issue concerning the worker, or wage earner. The manager will attempt to extract as much surplus-value out of the commodity as they possibly can. If a commodities production cost is $10, they are going to add a premium of $5. The commodity now has a trade-value of $15 from which all of the production costs and surplus-value will be extracted. The issue for you as a person who adds labor-value to the production costs is, what is the proper compensation for that labor-value provided. As a human being you have certain basic requirements for survival. Water, food, shelter and reproduction are some of the things basic to your existence. These things were pointed out by Maslow when he created the famous Pyramid of Human Needs. At least, for the most basic of human existence, these basic needs must be fulfilled. Because we are a technological species other needs are introduced. Transportation and telecommunication are required. Clothing and other cultural and practical items of hygiene are required to maintain an air of normalcy and comfort. Then because humans have a rich mental faculty, entertainment and recreational diversion plus leisure, must also be provided for the 21st century human in an advances society. All of that human need points to the source of value embodied in human labor. Your labor, or any other person’s labor, should provide for at least all those needs plus a premium. The labor provided by the managers to manage, and make the surplus value, will be compensated by providing for all those human needs, so as it is written by the Founders of this nation that all humans beings are equal, the worker should receive the same due. Therefore, the worker should receive a minimum wage that provides a comfortable basic existence, with a premium added. Money equals stored value. The value being stored is human labor. Gold and silver are the universally tradable commodities, thus they are commonly used as stores of value. The gold and silver are commodities because they have use-value. As soon as they are minted into a coin they are transformed into currency. They no longer represent the labor-value embodied in them due to their mining and refining, They have trade-value when they are minted into currency. People put their faith in the stated value of of the minted coins regardless of their true value. Throughout history governments have been debasing coinage/currency. Even when they don’t purposefully debase the coinage, the wear of circulation debases the coinage in lost metal. The worn out coin may only weigh 85% of its original weight, but people still accept it as equal to all the rest. Now that the government no longer backs currency with money (gold and silver), wear and tear, or even the material, of the currency means nothing. The money no longer matters because currency (coupons) that represent your labor is the store of value. Now you’re all set up to give over a large proportion of your labor-value to Capitalist exploiters. It’s like working so someone else can eat steak while you eat dog food. Demand a larger share of the fruits of your labor. You’re worth it. I’m not saying take all their (the Capitalists) stuff. I’m saying let’s divy up the wealth more fairly. The 1% can volunteer to give a fair portion to the workers, or there are other ways of going about it. One week national strike? I doubt the people have the stomach to sit out for a week, even if they can’t fire everybody, yet. An idea for fighting forest fires with fire. Put on your imagination cap and consider some facts. Fire has to have three things to keep going, oxygen, fuel and heat. Take away any one of those three things and the fire will go out. Keeping that in mind, bring into your mind’s eye the image of a fire vortex, or fire tornado. The vortex draws in air from every direction at the bottom, and expels the heated air at the top. Think about the bottom of the fire vortex. All the flames are being drawn in towards an area that is already burn, and away from fuel. The fire vortex thus starves for fuel even though it has plenty of air and heat. It has to keep moving to maintain itself. Therein lays the answer. Keep that imagination going while you visualize a firefighting aircraft approaching the blaze. It isn’t there to drop water, or fire retardant. Rather it is there to drop a device as big as a school bus amidst the flames. The aircraft’s doors open and a bomb drops out. The bomb lands, hitting its mark within inches, and doors open on the top and bottom. A powerful jet engine is started with its exhaust blowing straight up. Then a spray of fuel is released into the exhaust and ignited, creating an artificial fire vortex. The blaze becomes sucked into the artificial fire vortex from every direction. Thus the natural blaze is starved of fuel and goes out. Then the device can be recovered. I would like some input on this idea please. Anyone with fire fighting and/or engineering exp would be as welcome as all others.

We want to have an economic system that better serves the general welfare. A system that more equitably distributes the fruits of our labor. The problem is, there are powerful forces that work on a daily basis to gather a disproportionately large portion of the fruits of our labor. They’ll use force, and have used force, to maintain the Capitalistic system we live under. In order to change things for the better, we are going to have to approach this problem from a different angle. Socialists can shake their fists and shout, but the fact remains that Capitalism is the dominant economic system. That system is ruled by individuals who continually work to bolster it. They defend it. They feed from it, and will kill anything that threatens their economic machine. Every time someone mentions a cooperative workplace, the capitalists get worried. They worry because they buy into the notion of Socialists trying to “Take their stuff”. Worker owned businesses to them means the government taking their business and giving it to the employees, or “free stuff”. The board of directors get worried they are going to lose their privilege and wealth. We need to make sure that the Capitalists are secure, even if in an illusory manner. The first thing that needs to happen is the capture of the state at the ballot box. Then afterwards institute laws that provide real protections for labor/wage earners. Laws that protect people’s right to organize unions in privately held businesses. Do away with the taboo on discussing wages with coworkers. Create programs that would help establish worker owned businesses. Make laws that compel a business to give the employees the right to purchase the business if the business contemplates going public. Make programs that would help finance employee takeovers of businesses. Make laws that would require that the board of directors of any company shall be composed of 50% employees, comprised of a mix within the company, and voted for by the employees. You as a Socialist who wants real change is going to have to be careful about the way you say things. You’re going to have to be extremely clever. Try not to say things that will cause the Capitalists to get worried. Instead of saying what we really want in the end like “worker owned business”, say “employee organized operation”. Say non-threatening things like “business/employee coalition”, “labor incentive program”, stuff that don’t get them worried about “taking half their stuff”. We’re going to get what we want, but are going to have to do it through the back door while they aren’t looking. We have to make the Capitalists feel cozy and safe while we are removing the cards on the foundation of their house of cards.
